A MAC (Media Access Control) address is a binary number that is a unique identifier of computer network interfaces and commonly referred to as the hardware address. MAC addresses are burned into network hardware devices by manufacturers or stored in firmware and are engineered to not be modified.
In the MiCloud and Sky phone systems, hardware items that are identified by MAC addresses include supported phones, routers, and ATA devices.
