Overview

Authorized Contacts who are a Decision Maker, Phone Manager, or Billing Contact can access the Account Details screen to view important information for their account. This information includes contacts, account facts and settings, phone numbers, locations, services, and a billing summary (which is not available to Phone Managers).

The Account Details screen is the first screen an Authorized Contact sees after logging into the Account Portal.

If you are already logged into the Account Portal and viewing another screen, to access the Account Details screen, do one of the following:

  • Navigate to Organization > Account > Account Details.
  • Click the name of your account, which is displayed in the top-right corner of every screen in the Account Portal.

The Account Details screen provides five different functional areas, referred to as panels, that enable you to view important information about your account. Information and instructions for utilizing each panel are provided below:

Contacts (top-left panel)

In the contacts panel, you can toggle between viewing Account (Authorized) Contacts and RingCentral Contacts. Additionally, if your account is managed by a Partner, you can also view Partner Contacts.

Account Contacts

Each Account Contact name is a link that can be used to open the Personal Information screen for the selected Authorized Contact. When viewing Account Contacts, the "View Authorized Contacts" link at the bottom of the contacts panel can be used to open the Authorized Contacts screen. To assign, remove, or modify any of the Authorized Contacts for your account, see the Roles and Permissions article.

RingCentral Contacts

RingCentral Contacts provides a list of the personnel who provide service to your account including Customer Success Manager, Project Manager and Salesperson. For each RingCentral Contact who is listed for your account:

  • The phone number is a link that can be used to call that person
  • The email address is a link that can be used to open a new email to that person

Partner Contacts

If your account is managed by a referring partner who was your partner of record when your account was initially created, this area of the contacts panel is designed to list personnel for that partner.

NOTE: Partner Contacts will only be populated if the partner was enabled via the official partner enablement process that is documented in the Enable Referring Partner Access section of the Partner Access to Customer Account article.

When viewing Partner Contacts, the Manage Partner Access link at the bottom of the contacts panel can be used to open the Groups screen where the Partner Access button is located. Use of this button is documented in the Enable Referring Partner Access section of the Partner Access to Customer Account article.

Account Facts and Settings (top-center panel)

The account facts and settings panel provides access to the following information:

  • Name - View the account name.
  • Status - View account status.
  • Website - View or update the URL for the company's website.
  • Account Number - View the account number.
  • Legacy Account ID - If applicable, view the account ID used for logging into Sky Contact Center.
  • Compliance Policies - If applicable, view the company's compliance policies.
  • Instance - View the name of the instance (cluster) assigned to the account. This information is required when changing TFTP (Config Server) settings on remote phones.
  • Call Center Instance - View the name of the call center instance (cluster) assigned to the account.
  • Industry - View or update the industry associated with the account.
  • Partner Type - If applicable, view the type of partner that is associated with the account. Otherwise, N/A is displayed.
  • Partner Name - If applicable, view the name of the referring partner or other type of partner that is associated with the account.
  • Outbound Dial Digit - View the number that must be dialed before dialing the 10-digit phone number to connect with external phones (outside of the customer's phone system).
  • System-Wide Conference # - View the phone number that is dialed to access the Sky "On Demand" Conferencing service (if previously activated for the account).

Account Summary (top-right panel)

The Account Summary panel enables bill payment and provides statistical billing information:

  • Currency, Balance, Payment, and Pay Now - For use with paying monthly invoices. See the "Making Payments" section of the Account Invoices, Payments, & Billing Policies article.
  • Invoices & Payments - A link to the Invoices & Payments screen.
  • Billable Locations - The number of billable locations for the account.
  • Invoice Groups - The number of separate billing invoices for the account.
  • Number of Profiles - The number of all types of phone profiles in use for the account.
  • Number of Circuits - The number of circuits utilized by the account.

Numbers (bottom-left panel)

The numbers panel provides access to the following:

  • Numbers By Location - View a statistical summary of in-use and available phone numbers by location. Click the first instance of the location name to open the Location Details dialog where you can make changes to the selected location. Click the second instance of the location name to open a new window with a view of the location on a map.
  • Ranges By Location - View the ranges of phone numbers that are available for each of your locations.

Tabs (bottom-center/right panel)

The tabs panel enables you to choose between viewing information displayed in the following three tabs:

  • Geographic Locations - Provides a quick summary view of the first 5 locations for the account. Clicking the "Show All" link below will display all locations for the account. The location data includes Actual Live Date, Scheduled Live Date, total Profiles, Currency type, and total monthly Recurring charges. The data can be filtered to show only Active, Circuit, On Net, or Off Net locations. The location address link opens a new window with a view of the location on a map.
  • Services - Provides a quick summary view of all services including Status, Country, Product, Quantity, Currency, NRC (one-time Non-Recurring Charges), and MRC (Monthly Recurring Charges).
  • Invoices - Provides access to a subset of the information that is available in the Invoices & Payments screen (Invoice Groups are not visible here). For help understanding this information, see the "Accessing Your Invoices Online" section of the Account Invoices, Payments, & Billing Policies article.

NOTE: If you see any data that is incorrect for your account and you do not have the ability to update it yourself, please create a Support Case to communicate the incorrect information to Support.
