As a Decision Maker or Phone Manager, you can manage the users for whom Call Recording is enabled.
Refer to the following sections for information about performing these functions:
NOTE: You can edit the following user details after Call Recording is enabled for a user:
- First name
- Last name
- Username
- Email address
- Extension
After editing the user details in the Account Portal, the changes will be reflected in the Mitel Interaction Recording portal within 5 minutes.
Enabling Call Recording While Adding a User to an Account
As a Decision Maker or Phone Manager, you can enable Call Recording for a user while you add that user to your account.
To enable Call Recording while adding a user:
- In the Phone panel, in the Add-On Apps section, select the MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR) check box.
- Select MiCloud Connect MIR On-Demand or MiCloud Connect MIR Always-On from the list.

NOTE: Call Recording is available only for users with an Elite, Premier, Essentials or Telephony phone profile.

Enabling Call Recording from the Personal Information Page
To enable Call Recording for a user from the user's Personal Information page:
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Phone System menu, click Users.
- In the Contact Name column, click the name of the user for whom you want to enable Call Recording.
The Personal Information page for the selected user is displayed. - On the Contact tab, in the Add a feature section, do the following:
- In the Profile list, select the profile for which to enable Call Recording.
- In the Feature list, select MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR).
- Beside Recording Mode, select either of the following:
- MiCloud Connect MIR On-Demand
- MiCloud Connect MIR Always-On
- Select an Activation Date.
- Click Add.
- Click Accept in the confirmation dialog box that opens to confirm that you want to enable the feature for the user.
Enabling Call Recording for Users in Your Account
As a Decision Maker or Phone Manager, you can enable Call Recording for users in your account.
To enable Call Recording for users in your account:
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Phone System menu, click Add-On Features.
- To the right of MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR), click Manage.
- On the toolbar, click Add.
The Add MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR) Users dialog box opens. - In the Select Users panel, select the check box next to the name of each user for whom you want to enable call recording, and then click Next.
- In the Select Products panel, in the Product list, select either of the following:
- MiCloud Connect MIR Always-On
- MiCloud Connect MIR On-Demand
- Click Next.
- In the Summary panel, review the summary of the order placed, and then click Finish.
- Click OK in the confirmation dialog box to enable Call Recording for the selected users.
Viewing a List of Users Who Have Call Recording Enabled
You can view a list of all the users in your account for whom Call Recording is enabled.
The following information is displayed on the Mitel Interaction Recording management page:
- Full Name: The name of the user as it appears in the database.
- Phone Number: The telephone number for the user.
- Extension: The extension number for the user.
- Product: The type of Call Recording service enabled for the user (MiCloud Connect MIR On-Demand or MiCloud Connect MIR Always-On).
To view a list of users for whom Call Recording is enabled:
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Phone System menu, click Add-On Features.
- To the right of MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR), click Manage.
A list of users for whom Call Recording is enabled is displayed. - To filter the list, do either of the following:
- Type your filter criteria in the search field on the toolbar.
- Type your filter criteria under the appropriate column heading.
Changing the Call Recording Type for Users
As a Decision Maker or Phone Manager, you can change the Call Recording type for the users in your account.
To change the Call Recording type for a user:
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Phone System menu, click Add-On Features.
- To the right of MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR), click Manage.
A list of users who have access to Call Recording is displayed. - Select the check box next to a user whose Call Recording type you want to change.
- Click Change Product on the toolbar.
The Update MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR) Users dialog box opens. - In the Select Users panel, verify the selected user and then click Next.
- In the Settings panel, from the Product list select MiCloud Connect MIR On-Demand or MiCloud Connect MIR Always-On.
- Click Next.
- In the Summary panel, review the summary and then click Finish.
- Click OK in the confirmation dialog box that opens.
Disabling Call Recording for a User
To disable or remove the Call Recording feature for a user:
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Phone System menu, click Add-On Features.
- To the right of MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR), click Manage.
A list of users who have access to Call Recording is displayed. - Do either of the following:
- Right-click the name of the user and select Disable MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR).
- Select the check box beside the user for whom you want to disable Call Recording, and then click Remove on the toolbar.
Note: To disable Call Recording for multiple users, select the check boxes next to each user and then click Remove on the toolbar.
- Click OK in the Close MiCloud Connect Call Recording (CR) dialog box that opens.
- Click OK in the confirmation dialog box that opens.
Call Recording is disabled for the selected user.
Account Termination
To terminate an account from MiCloud, contact Support.
The following actions are triggered after an account termination is initiated by Support:
- All services and orders of all users in the account will be closed in the Account Portal.
- All users in the account will be deleted from the Account Portal as well as from the MIR portal.
- The account, and all the recordings of all the users in that account available in the MIR portal will be deleted within 24 hours of account termination.
