This article provides instructions to reset your own password to gain access to the MiCloud Account Portal and other MiCloud applications.
NOTE: If your account uses Azure Active Directory for authentication, resetting your enterprise password is managed within Azure Active Directory. For more information, contact an administrator in your organization.
Use the following instructions to reset your ]password. Optionally, you can go to https://auth.mitel.io/forgotpassword and then skip to step 3 below to reset your password.
-
Open the desired application and when the “Sign in” screen appears, enter your username, which is usually set to your business email address, and click Next.
NOTE: If your username is associated with more than one account, a "Multiple accounts located" message is displayed. If this occurs, select the desired system from the drop-down menu or enter the Account Number/Partner Label for your account.
- When you get to the screen that is prompting you to enter your password, click the Forgot Password link.
NOTES:
- This function is not available when accessing the MiCloud Contact Center application.
- If users with role-based email addresses go through the “forgot password” prompts and get the error notification "Cannot reach your mailbox. Please contact your system administrator," this indicates that the user's email address has failed validation by the platform. Role-based email addresses (for example admin@, help@, support@, info@, etc) are not accepted. This style of email address is often used for spam; therefore, these email addresses are blocked and not accepted. You must have a different Authorized Contact (Decision Maker or Phone Manager) on the account reset the password.
- In the Forgot Password screen that appears, enter your username and click Next.
- Look for a Forgot Password email from no-reply@mitel.io and do one of the following:
- Click the Reset Password button in the email.
- Return to the Forgot Password screen, click the Enter Code button, enter the confirmation code from the email, and click Submit.
- In the Set a New Password screen that appears, enter your new password in the first input field and re-enter the password in the second input field. The strength of the new password is displayed below the password input fields. Note that a new password must be different from the current password and include the following:
- a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 16 characters
- at least one number and at least one English letter
- at least one of these special characters @ ! # $ % & _ - = +
- no spaces
- Click Next and an email is sent to you to confirm that your password was successfully reset.
