Grandstream HT813 ATA (Sky)
Grandstream-HT813-ATA
Overview

The Grandstream HT813 is a versatile analog telephone adapter (ATA) that is supported by the Sky phone system. An ATA enables an analog device to interact with a VoIP phone system. This ATA works well with overhead paging systems, door buzzers, and TTY/TDD devices .

The HT813 can technically be used for analog telephones, but because of an issue that degrades the quality of calls that are 30 minutes or longer in duration, we cannot recommend the HT813 for use with any analog phones.

The Grandstream HT813 has only one connection for an analog device.

If you have questions about this Grandstream ATA device, create a Support Case to submit your questions to Support.

FXS Port Tab

  1. Access the FXS Port tab
  2. Set Primary SIP Server to the primary TFTP (Config Server) IP address followed by :15061 (for example, 66.11.207.37:15061).
  3. Set SIP User ID and Authenticate ID to the full ten-digit DID phone number (for example, 2016390547).
  4. Set Authenticate Password to the Sky password.
  5. SIP Protocol must be set to UDP (this is the default value).

    • If the ATA is for any other device, leave the Offhook Auto-Dial value blank.

Testing

Pick up the analog phone. If the configuration was performed correctly, a dial tone can be heard and you can dial either an n-digit local extension or outbound dial digit + external DID.
  • If the ATA is for a door buzzer, the analog phone will dial out to the n-digit extension configured in the previous step.
