TFTP Change on Cisco ATA

To change the TFTP address on Cisco model 186 and 188 ATA devices, follow the instructions listed below.

Requirements

• PC with Internet access, on the same network as the ATA
• Analog phone
• ATA device

Instructions

1. See the ATA article.
2. See the TFTP article and enter the TFTP address in the GkOrProxy field.
3. Enter the TFTP in the OutboundProxy field.
   • If using a Sky-provided ISP (on-net), the TFTP is followed by .5061.
     Example: 10.10.140.32.5061
   • If using a non-Sky-provided ISP (off-net), the TFTP is followed by .15061.
     Example: 66.11.207.75.15061
4. Click Apply at the bottom of the page.
5. Click click here to reload at the top of the page.
6. Test the ATA for a dial tone.
