Nearly all of the phone profiles in the MiCloud and Sky phone systems are assigned a 10-digit DID phone number, which allows calls to be routed to the intended recipient without passing through a company's main phone number or Auto Attendant. However, DID phone numbers are not applicable to "voicemail-only" phone profiles.
Additionally, DID (Direct Inward Dial) phone numbers are used for inbound purposes and the use of DID numbers enables the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) to connect with VoIP networks. For a more detailed explanation of DID, see the Direct Inward Dial wiki page.
