When the firmware version on your IP 400 series phone is 802.0.3903.0 or higher, the current firmware version is automatically downloaded to your phone when the phone is connected to the Sky phone system.
To find the firmware version on your IP 400 series phone, do the following:
- Press the Mute button (microphone icon with a slash through it).
- Dial 4636 (INFO).
- Press the # key.
- In the Admin screen that opens, use the navigation key pad to scroll to and highlight the "Phone information" option.
- Press the right (or center) navigation key and locate the "Software version."
- Press the Back soft key, then press the Exit soft key to return to normal phone operation.
Cisco 7900 Series Phones
- Press the Settings button (folder icon with a check mark).
- Select the Status option.
