If you are a MiCloud Decision Maker or Phone Manager, you can view call detail records for all phones in your company.
Viewing the Usage Log
You can view a log of all inbound and outbound calls for up to the last 7 days. The usage log contains the following information for each call:
- Date and Time
- Duration
- Calling Number
- Direction (Inbound/Outbound)

- Originating
- Dialed Number
- Destination
- Internal (Yes/No)

To view the usage log (call detail records):
- Log in to the Account Portal.
- On the Organization menu, under Usage, click Usage Log.
- In the Time Period drop-down list, select one of the following to select the length of time to display calls for, and then click Apply:
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- To filter the list, do one of the following:
- In the list above the toolbar, select the location to view.
- Type your filter criteria in the search field on the toolbar.
- Type your filter criteria under the appropriate column heading.
- Select Inbound or Outbound under the Direction column heading.
- Select Yes or No under the Internal column heading.
Exporting the Usage Log (Call Detail Records)
You can export a usage log for your account to a .csv (Comma Separated Values) file. Each exported usage log can contain up to 60 days of data.
NOTE: Usage log data older than 13 months is not accessible using the Usage Log export feature. Data older than 13 months is archived and can be obtained by submitting a formal request via submission of a Support Case. Usage log data is archived for 7 years; all data older than 7 years is deleted and is no longer available.
The exported usage log contains the following information for each call:
- Location
- Start of Call Date
- Start of Call Time
- Calling Number
- Call Direction (Inbound/Outbound)
- Originating User
- Originating City
- Originating State

- Dialed Number
- Destination User
- Destination City
- Destination State
- Call Type
- Duration
- Call Charge
- Account Code

- Log in to the Account Portal.
- Navigate to the Usage Log and filter the list as desired.
See Viewing the Usage Log for information about viewing and filtering the Usage Log. - Click Export on the toolbar.
The Export Call History dialog box appears. - In the From date field, type or select the earliest date to export data for.
- In the To date field, type or select the latest date to export data for.
- In the File name field, type a name for the exported .csv file.
- (Optional) Select the Charged calls only check box to only export calls with a non-zero charge.
- Click OK, and then follow the prompts to open or save the file.
NOTE: You can also use the CDR Data Export API scripting feature to extract CDR (Call Detail Record) data generated by your MiCloud phone system. Inbound calls to Global Numbers are included in the usage log but are not included in CDR reports exported using the CDR Data Export API scripting feature.
