A toll-free number is a number your customers can call without being charged. The fees are paid by the number's owner. These numbers exist within the 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877, 888 NPA (area code) ranges. This article provides information about the toll-free numbers available in the MiCloud phone system.

Transferring an Existing Toll-Free Number to MiCloud

Pricing
- New Toll-Free Numbers
- New and existing customers incur a one-time charge for each new toll-free number that is ordered from MiCloud.
- Existing Toll-Free Numbers
- Existing customers can transfer any number of their existing toll-free numbers to MiCloud for a one-time charge for each of the different telecom carrier invoices provided to MiCloud. For example, if an existing customer is transferring existing toll-free numbers from three different telecom carriers, the customer incurs three one-time charges.
- New customers who purchase JumpStart, ExpertStart, or PartnerStart service can transfer any number of their existing toll-free numbers to MiCloud for no charge for up to two different telecom carrier invoices per MiCloud account location. For example, if a new customer has only one MiCloud location, but has existing toll-free numbers with three different telecom carriers, the customer incurs a one-time charge for the additional carrier invoice that is provided to MiCloud.
- Inbound Calls to Toll-Free Numbers
- There is a per-minute rate that is charged to MiCloud customers for all inbound calls to their toll-free numbers.
