Usage
Telephone numbers displayed in common formats on regular web pages will become clickable links
Not all phone numbers can be processed into links by Web Dialer. Some example cases where Web Dialer will not create links:
Phone numbers appearing as part of an image (a “picture” of a number)
Phone numbers containing characters other than digits (e.g. 1-800-BUY-TOYS)
Numbers that are not clearly formatted as phone numbers such as 4083313300 (no spaces, dashes, or other separators).
Phone numbers that are already click-able links (Web Dialer will not alter an existing link). If configured for icon links, they will be generated alongside the existing number link.
Phone numbers appearing as values in a text area or text box (ex. in a database field)
For numbers that are not clearly formatted or that are contained in a text box or database field, you can manually use the dialer:
Highlight the number
Right-click and select the number on the menu
