As a MiCloud Administrator, the following options are available when adding users to your account:
NOTE: Before adding global users, you must first contact Support to request phone numbers be added to your account for use with the Global Users service. For details about the Global Users service, see MiCloud Global Users.
Adding Users
As a MiCloud Administrator, you can add a single user to your account or you can add a group of users to your account.
To add a single user:
- In the Account Console menu, click Users & Locations, and then click Users.
- In the page that opens, click Quick Actions and then click Add Single User.
- In the page that opens, under the User section, do the following:
- In the First Name field, enter the first name of the user.
- In the Last Name field, enter the last name of the user.
- In the Location field, select the user's location from the drop-down list
- (Optional) In the Mobile Number field, enter the mobile number of the user.
- In the Email field, enter the email address of the user.
- (Optional) In the Role field, select the role for the user from the list of options.
- Under the Phone Service section, do the following:
- In the Product field, select the phone service for the user.
- In the Phone Number field:
- Select either None, Existing, or New from the drop-down list.
- Enter the extension number of the user in the Extension field.
- In the Phone field, select Quick Order to select the phone for the user.
- Under the Add-Ons section, select the add-on features for the user.
- Click Order Product & Add User.
- In the Review Add Order dialog box that opens, do the following:
- Review the order details.
- Under the Activate User and Send Welcome Email section, do the following:
- Select the I want to activate added user. Billing starts today and services are available to use immediately. check box to activate the user immediately.
NOTE: If you want to activate the user later, clear this check box. For more information, see the
Activating Users section in the
Editing User Details article.
- Select the I want to send welcome email to added user. check box for a welcome email to be sent to the user.
- Click Place Order to add the user.
