As a MiCloud Administrator, you can choose to send a welcome email to a new user when adding the user or you can send or resend the welcome email at a later time.
The welcome email includes the following:
- The user's MiCloud username, as well as their phone number and extension (if applicable)
- A link to create their secure password
- A link to download and install MiCloud collaboration applications, such as the Client
- A link to helpful information about their new phone service
NOTE: Details in the welcome email vary, depending on whether or not the user has an associated phone service.
To send a welcome email:
- On the Account Console menu, click Users & Locations, and then click Users.
- From the list of users, select the name of the user you want to send a welcome email to and click Manage.
- Select the Send Welcome Email check box at the bottom of the user edit panel.
- Click Update User.
- Repeat step 2 through step 4 for each user to whom you want to send a welcome email.
