As a MiCloud Administrator, you can choose to send a welcome email to a new user when adding the user or you can send or resend the welcome email at a later time.

The welcome email includes the following:

  • The user's MiCloud username, as well as their phone number and extension (if applicable)
  • A link to create their secure password
  • A link to download and install MiCloud collaboration applications, such as the Client
  • A link to helpful information about their new phone service
NOTE: Details in the welcome email vary, depending on whether or not the user has an associated phone service.

To send a welcome email:

  1. On the Account Console menu, click Users & Locations, and then click Users.
  2. From the list of users, select the name of the user you want to send a welcome email to and click Manage.
  3. Select the Send Welcome Email check box at the bottom of the user edit panel.
  4. Click Update User.
  5. Repeat step 2 through step 4 for each user to whom you want to send a welcome email.
