MiCloud supports the Grandstream HT813 and HT503 Analog Telephone Adapters for the specific purposes listed below:
- Door Buzzer Systems
- Overhead Paging Systems
NOTE: Not all Overhead Paging Systems or Door Buzzer Systems are compatible with the Grandstream HT813 or HT503. Be sure to discuss with your IT partner or consultant to learn more information about device compatibility.
The Grandstream HT813 and HT503 are versatile ATAs (Analog Telephone Adapters) that are supported by the MiCloud phone system. These devices enable an analog device to interact with a VoIP phone system. These ATAs works well with paging systems and door buzzers.
NOTE: The Grandstream HT813 and HT503 ATA devices can technically be used for analog telephones, but because of an issue that degrades the quality of calls that are 30 minutes or longer in duration, we cannot recommend the these ATAs for use with any analog phones.
Note that the Grandstream HT813 and HT503 ATA devices each have only one connection for an analog device If you have questions about the Grandstream device, contact Support.
The firmware version certified for use with MiCloud is as follows:
- Grandstream HT813: 1.0.0.8
- Grandstream HT503: 1.0.14.1
It is recommended that any Grandstrem ATA devices used with MiCloud are equipped with the listed firmware version or later.
Setting Up the Grandstream ATA
Use the following instructions to set up a Grandstream HT813 or HT503 ATA and access the web interface for the ATA device.

- Plug in the power cable and connect the WAN port to the network.
- Plug an analog phone into the following port:
- Grandstream HT813: FXS
- Grandstream HT503: PHONE
- Pick up the analog phone and press *** to access the configuration menu.
- Press 02 to hear the IP address, then press #.
- Press 12 and then 9 to enable web access from the WAN, then press #. (The WAN port for the HT813 is the world symbol; closest to the FXS port.)
- In the address bar of any web browser, type the IP address of the device and then press Enter.
The admin log in page is displayed. - Log in using admin as the password.
Configuring the Grandstream ATA
Use the following instructions to configure a Grandstream HT813 or HT503 ATA device.
- In the address bar of any web browser, type the IP address of the device and then press Enter.
The admin login page is displayed. - Log in using admin as the password.
- Select the FXS-Port tab, and configure the settings as follows:
- Account Active: Yes
- Primary SIP Server: 3psbc.sky.shoretel.com
- Outbound Proxy: 3psbc.sky.shoretel.com
- SIP Transport: TLS
- SIP User ID: Enter 1 + the 10-digit phone number of the connected phone
- Authenticate ID: Re-enter 1 + the 10-digit phone number of the connected phone
- Authenticate Password: Enter the user's voicemail password.
- Name: Enter the display name for the phone
- iLBC Frame Size: 30ms
NOTE: Only 30ms frame size is supported at this time.
- If the ATA is being used for a paging system, configure the following setting on the FXS-Port tab:
- Loop Current Disconnect: Yes
NOTE: This prevents a busy signal from being broadcast over the paging system at the end of each page.
- Click Apply.
- Select the Advanced Settings tab, and configure the settings as follows:
- NTP Server:
- Off-net: pool.ntp.org
- On-net: Enter the IP address of the voice gateway.
- Click Apply, and then reboot the ATA device.
